The two Days Nyungwe Forest National Park Chimpanzee Tracking adventure takes you into the well preserved Nyungwe Rainforest park. The Forest is a home to over 13 primates, 280 bird species and different plant species. Nyungwe Forest National Park was inaugurated in 2004 and is best known for being Rwanda’s top haven for Chimpanzee Tracking.
Day One: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park from Kigali city.
Day Two: Morning Chimpanzee tracking and departure to Kigali in the afternoon

Day One: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park from Kigali Town
You will be met by your guide from Bujuku Ecotours after an early morning breakfast at your hotel in Kigali to start off your 2 days chimpanzee tracking in Rwanda experience. You will drive to the southern province heading to Nyungwe Forest National park. This drive lasts approximately 5 hours, taking you through the winding hills and montane forests to your lodge. You will check in here, and thereafter embark on the extraordinary Canopy walk in the afternoon, viewing the forest from an aerial view. After the Canopy walk, you return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day Two: Chimpanzee tracking and departure to Kigali.
Have an early morning warm breakfast at the Lodge. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the Nyungwe Forest National park headquarters for briefing by the park guide. Thereafter, you will proceed for Chimpanzee tracking, which lasts between 2-4 hours in the park. You will be afforded an hour of getting closer to the chimpanzees, observing them as they keep in their habitat. Upon completion of your Chimpanzee tracking experience, you will head back to your lodge and get ready for the drive to Kigali.
