Day 1: Transfer From Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be met by our driver guide on arrival at Entebbe international airport. Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park takes about 8 to 10 hours drive via the Masaka – Mbarara road through Ntungamo. On arriving in Bwindi, you will settle in your prior booked accommodation for a hot meal and a warm shower as you prepare for the trek the next day
Accommodation options in Bwindi will depend on your preference and the sector in which you will be going for gorilla trekking (Buhoma, Nkuringo, Rushaga, Ruhija)

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On this day, wake up as early as 5am in the morning, take your morning breakfast and prepare for briefing at you designated sector by the park at exactly 7am to start your trek deep to the jungle. Since its a low season/ rainy season come prepared for the abrupt rain and wet bushes. You will need gaiters, poncho, a small daypack for your snacks and water, trekking poles, waterproof jackets, and long-sleeved clothing.
Gorilla trekking in this season gets you discounted offers right from gorilla trekking permits, accommodation to guides, since the visitor number is low during this period.

Day 3: Transfer To Kibale National Park for Chimpanzee Tracking
On this day wake up early and prepare for the long journey to Kibale national park for your chimpanzee tracking. You will go through the vast savannas of queen elizabeth national park as you admire the scenic views of the Rubirizi craters, kyambura gorge, the beautiful vast savanna and different animals like elephants, antelopes, buffaloes and different bird species enroute to Kibale national park
On arrival at your lodge, you rest and relax for a hot meal as you prepare yourself for chimpanzee tracking the next day

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
Wake up at 6:30am in the morning and take some morning tea to warm up for the activity ahead, prepare yourself, take the necessary requirements to move with for the whole day as you go for chimpanzee tracking. You will be picked up by our driver guide from your lodge to the visitor’s center in kanyanchu where all briefing takes place at 7:30am. Your trek through the deep forest will depend on how far the chimpanzee are.
You are assured of 1 hour with the chimpanzees after finding them and taking pictures spending quality time with these amazing primates as you ask your ranger guide some the question you need to know about the chimps. Ensure to take fully charged phone or camera to take lots of pictures and videos for your great memories in Kibale national park.
You will need to take your rain jackets since it will be a rainy season and it could pour any time, take some gumboots, walking stick, light clothing, a small daypack for your snacks and water.

Day 5: Departure
After breakfast at your lodge in Kibale national park, you will check out of the lodge and get ready to transfer back to Entebbe for your next flight or destination
