Travelling By Road to Four Gorillas Lodge Rushaga Bwindi
Drive from Entebbe or Kampala, via Masaka, Mbarara to Kabale. In Kabale proceed on the Kisoro highway up to Muko town where you will make a right turn off shortly after the Muko police outpost. The turn-off has many signposts of different lodges and Four Gorillas lodge Rushaga Bwindi has a signpost too. The last drive after the turn-off is a straight drive and roughly takes an hour to the last bridge.
From the bridge proceed for 300meters to a signpost for Four Gorillas lodge Rushaga Bwindi where you will make your last turn. From this signpost, it takes roughly 1 km to Four Gorillas lodge Rushaga Bwindi. The entire road trip takes approximately 8 to 9 hours with minimum stopovers.

Fly to Kigali international airport and connect by road to Rushaga sector through Cyanika border in Kisoro which takes about 5 to 6 hours to Four Gorillas lodge or through Katuna one stop boarder post in Kabale.
The drive from Kigali to Bwindi forest through Katuna border in Kabale is much easier and nearer however the drive through Musanze and Cyanika border offers amazing views driving at the base of the Virunga volcanoes from Musanze to Kisoro town as well as views of the twins lakes of Ruhondo and Burera in Musanze.
