When to visit:
Serengeti national park being a year – round destinations it covers a vast area and offering unparalled wildlife viewing. Chances of you spotting the exact great migration of wildebeest herd crossing Mara River or at Grumeti are very minimal. But also the timing of the herd movements cannot be guaranteed.
However, choosing the right part of the Serengeti from the south east and Ndutu where the period ranges from December through may, then the western corridor from May to July.
For the Serengeti Mar area, it ranges from July through October, and then Northern Serengeti and Lobo areas in October and November. Here you have high chances of encountering large herds of wildebeest.

Day by Day itinerary

DAY 1: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
You will be met by our guide driver from Arusha and transfer to Tarangire National Park for a fully day morning and evening game drive. Upon arrival, check in your lodge first to refresh and then depart for a full day wildlife viewing experience in the park.
Tarangire national park is best known for its large population of elephants with an estimated 2,500 individual elephants and the beautiful gigantic Baobab trees, then the Tarangire River and so many of the various bird species.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Wake up early and have morning breakfast and after, join your guide driver to embark on transfer to Serengeti National Park. The drive will take you approximately 4-6 hours to arrive at the main gate. Along the way, have an option to pass to pass via Olduvai Gorge for the historical tour, after proceed to Serengeti national park and arrive in the evening for a game drive, and search for late grazers, view sunset as you relax.
Serengeti national park is best known for its massive annual migration of the wildebeests and zebras while they seek for the fresh green pastures, on this wildlife, you have an opportunity to experience the migration as long as you book for your wildlife between December- March and November. The same place is where you see other wildlife so that your big five safari is a complete experience.

DAY 3: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER.
After your early morning breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro crater picnic lunch viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains. You have options of transiting through Olduvai Gorge. This point is where many incredible archaeological discoveries have been found, it’s also a beautiful area with lush, grassy land and Tanzanian acacia trees sweeping majestically on the land scape.
Another option would be visiting the Masai village and learn about their nomadic culture and enchanting singing and dancing styles. Here you can surely cultivate your aspirations by competing with Masai males high jumps!
