The 1 Day Kigali City safari takes you around the Capital city of Rwanda the country also known as the “Land of a thousand hills”. The city is built over a series of hills with a number of restaurants, Hotels, Bars and recreation centers suiting all groups of people.

Detailed Itinerary:

Kick off your 1 Day Kigali City safari around the Cleanest City in Africa upon having your early morning breakfast,. The tour takes you to the City’s markets, art galleries, and to shops where you may get some souvenirs. This morning drive takes you to places like Nyamirambo, where many crafting projects are found. Proceed for lunch as arranged for you at a local restaurant.

After lunch, your driver will pick you up for the other half-day city tour, where you will see both the Old and New Kigali. The trip will take you to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Grounds, a commemoration center of the over 2500 bodies of the Genocide victims that happened in 1994. It is here that a decent burial was accorded to them in a mass grave. You will be availed with short video clips from some of the survivors of the genocide, treating you to an emotional experience as you envision its impact to the community. You may also visit the churches and mosques around the city.

Later in the evening, you may visit the Local markets like Kimironko market which is the biggest in Rwanda.

Your driver guide will drive you back to your hotel, marking the end of your 1-day City Tour.
