Day 1: Arrival at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport
We welcome you at the Melchior Ndadaye international airport and transfer you to your booked hotel in Bujumbura city for relaxation, briefing for the 3 days tour and overnight.
Day 2: Bujumbura city tour and visit Rusizi National Park
In the morning after breakfast, you start the Bujumbura city tour where you discover Burundi’s culture, history and attractions of Lake Tanganyika, the living museum and Dr. David Livingstone and Henry Murton Stanley monument. We have a lunch break before we join a 40 minutes drive to Rusizi national. After a well-deserved lunch break back at the hotel, the afternoon takes you on a scenic 40-minute drive to Rusizi National Park.
While in Rusizi national park, you will experience wildlife viewing of animals such as hippos, sitatunga, crocodiles, Gustave, mongoose, monkeys and watch birds in the wetland areas such as papyrus gonolek, warblers and much more. You can not miss a boatcruise on the rusizi river as you take photograph. We drive back to Bujumbura city for overnight and resting your body after a full day of safari.
Day 3: Transfer to the Airport
After breakfast in the morning, you sign out of your accommodation and transfer to Melchior Ndadaye international airport for a safe flight and say goodbye.
