Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

On arrival at Arusha international airport, you will be met by our driver guide to transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha town. You will relax at the lodge for the day or opt to for a city orientation to places like Cultural Heritage Centres (art shopping), Tanzanite Experience (gemology), Meserani Snake Park, and scenic Mount Meru & Lake Duluti for hiking/canoeing. Relax and prepare for the next day’s adventure

Day 2: Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

On this day, get ready for your journey to Tarangire national park. Tarangire is one of the parks located in Northern Tanzania known as a more seasonal park. Within the Greater Tarangire ecosystem, there is a lot of migratory movement. From Arusha to the main entrance gate, the drive will take at least 3-2hours, with which only 7kms of them are on a non tarred road. Enjoy the scenic views enroute to Tarangire national park and check in at Tarangire Safari Lodge or its equivalent for two nights.

Day 3: Full-Day Tarangire Exploration

Enjoy a full-day game drive surrounded by beautiful green landscapes, plush baobab trees covered in green leaves, and large elephant herds thriving in the greenery.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the plains of Tarangire national park and later on an evening game drive as you head back to your lodge to rest and prepare for the next adventure.

Overnight again at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Transfer From Tarangire National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early in the morning for a morning breakfast and prepare for a journey to the Ngorongoro crater.

Descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera in Tanzania, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its incredible wildlife density, including the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo) within its unique ecosystem of grasslands, lakes, and forests, offering a spectacular safari experience with year-round animal populations due to permanent water and lush vegetation. Formed from a collapsed volcano, this natural amphitheatre is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where Maasai people and wildlife coexist, and offers significant archaeological evidence of human evolution

Later in the afternoon continue with your journey to Ndutu area.

Days 5–8 – Ndutu Calving Season Action (4 Nights)

Spend four full days in Ndutu following wildlife activity — witnessing wildebeest calving, predator hunts, and the movement of herbivores and carnivores.

The Ndutu calving season is a spectacular wildlife event (late Jan-March) in Tanzania’s southern Serengeti/Ndutu area where over half a million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles gather to give birth on nutrient-rich short-grass plains, creating an intense predator-prey drama as thousands of vulnerable calves are born daily, providing incredible photography and wildlife viewing opportunities for safari-goers.

Day 9: Departure 

Transfer to Ndutu Airstrip for your flight to Arusha, or you can simply drive to arusha then an evening drop-off at JRO airport for your international flight or to your next destination.
