Tipping Gorilla Rangers
Tipping for Gorilla Park rangers are much appreciated as they are ones who take you through the strenuous steep slopes, misty thick forests and slippery forest trails to look out for the group of mountain gorillas you have been assigned to track in their natural habitat.
For gorilla rangers, you can choose to tip them at least $5 to $20 in a group of eight visitors and usually they have a central tipping box at park headquarters or alternatively, you can give your tip directly to a guide or lead ranger who then distribute the amount to the crew involved in the process of gorilla trekking.
Tipping Porters
When you hire a porter to assist you carry your heavy load during gorilla trekking, you are free to appreciate them at the end at least $1 to $5 in addition to $15 that you will pay for hiring them.
