Day 1: Arrival in Burundi’s capital Bujumbura city and Transfer to Bururi forest nature reserve.
We welcome you in Bujumbura for a city tour as you enjoy the landscapes of Burundi and transfer you to the nearby accommodation near bururi forest nature reserve for overnight.
Day 2: Early morning chimpanzee Tracking and transfer to Bujumbura city.
Early in the morning after breakfast, we drive to the starting point of bururi forest nature reserve for briefing from the ranger guides, then start a hike in the forests to track the chimpanzees that usually takes 3-4 hours depending on their location. After spotting the chimpanzees, you are required to take 1 hour of close encounter with them watching how their groom, play as their make calls to each other.
After that experience with the chimpanzees in the wilderness of bururi forest, we transfer back to Bujumbura city for your flight.
