The entrance fees to Bwindi are as stated below;

An individual foreign resident pays $350, while an individual East African citizen pays only UGX150,000 for an annual pass to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

A foreign resident couple pays $500 for an annual pass to Bwindi, while an East African citizen couple pays UGX200,000 in order to access Bwindi Impenetrable National Park throughout the year.

A foreign resident family with a maximum of 4 children pays $700, while an East African citizen family with a maximum of 4 children pays UGX300,000 for an annual pass to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

An annual corporate pass to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for foreign residents is $1500 and UGX2,500,000 for East African citizens. A safari guide pays UGX100,000 for an annual pass to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, while tour company drivers have a free pass to Bwindi.

In regards to annual passes, it is important to note:

• Vehicle entrance is charged separately
• The fees do not include package activities like gorilla trekking
• Foreign residents need to have a valid work permit of at least 1 year’s validity to qualify

Motorcycles with foreign registration pay $30 and those with Ugandan registration pay $5 only. Saloon cars with foreign registration pay $40, while those with Ugandan registration pay only $10.

Tour company vehicles and 4-wheel drives with foreign registration are charged $150, while those with Ugandan registration are charged $15 only. Overlanders with foreign registration plates are charged $150, while those with Ugandan registration are charged $50 only.

Up to 3-seater aircraft are each charged $20 per landing in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. A 4–6-seater aircraft is charged $30, a 7–14-seater is charged $40, a 15–20-seater aircraft is charged $50, and a 21 or more-seater aircraft is charged $60, all per landing.

Helicopters with foreign registration, however, are charged $100, while those that are Ugandan registered are charged $125 per landing.

Parking fees are UGX10,000 per day.
